Ipoh, Malaysia

Ipoh was a nice stop to see a different part of Malaysia. The old town was interesting to look around with heritage buildings, street art, and the modern additions.

Most of the really interesting sites were outside of actual Ipoh unfortunately, as the area is surrounded by karsks (which had us reminiscing of Ninh Binh in Northern Vietnam!) that had natural lakes or temples built inside.

We still managed to find a great Indian restaurant that fed us banana leaf and set meals for very reasonable prices!Read more
