Sweet Orange Trail, Ubud, Bali,Indonesia

This was another walk we found on Google maps which was much better than the previous one! A bit of a weird start to the walk through some thin alleyways but then it opens out to rice fields within minutes.

We did the walk twice, once in the morning and then at dusk. It was much quieter in the morning, and you could see birds and lizards enjoying the area. The walk was circular and the direction we choose meant it ended a small temple, a silversmiths and then a street of local restaurants and shops.

At dusk the light was beautiful against the bright green of the crops, and other people had the idea to watch the sun going down in the area too. We found a cute warung for a drink and enjoyed the surroundings, and when it got dark we walked the remainder of the trail getting to spot fire flies across the fields - magical 😍Leggi altro
