Zenkōji Temple, Nagano, Japan

We managed to get the bus up to this temple just in time, as we walked around the main temple site the bell was being ran to show it was closing time! Beautiful large temple that was so serene, glad we managed to visit it briefly.

The rain had started to get heavier by the time we left, and as we walked down the main street, past tourist shops and eateries that were closing up, we headed towards a traditional Japanese restaurant where we had ramen, soba and tempura that was delicious.Read more
