Oniishi Bozu Jigoku, Beppu, Japan

Our first 'hell' of the day and we started with an odd one! It was mud hot springs, which had got a nickname related to looking like a monks head.

It was very odd to see the clay reacting to the hot springs, just quietly bubbling away. There was a very eggy smell the further you went in too, thankfully the foot bath was close to the front so we both enjoyed a soak before moving on.Læs mere
