When we arrived back at Kayla and Randy's home, we ate some tacos from a food truck and then just collectively, randomly, and without planning all had naps 😅

Funny how exhausting doing nothing all day can be!

We rallied in the evening and went to Kayla's yoga studio for a sound bath. My first ever experience with it, and it was very interesting. It evoked a lot of emotions, lying down listening to sounds from crystal bowls and following small meditation.

It was an hour and half experience, that began with the instructor explaining the different chakras that the body holds, what they mean and what the representative colours are. We then laid down in the dark and she played a serious of sounds correlating to each chakra, guiding us through feeling each of them in our bodies. I've always had a bit of a hard time with meditation, but I tried to relax into it fully. I won't describe here exactly how it felt, but it was an hour and a half of just letting my body relax and letting throughs drift through my mind.

I had a mild headache afterwards and was very dehydrated, but relaxed and contemplative. Worth the experience!Baca selengkapnya
