Jacob and I were supposed to go to Lake Titicaca this morning but to our dismay the bus left 30 minutes earlier than it was meant to??? Pretty annoying so we’ve booked onto the over night bus tonight as they only run twice a day. Instead we spent the day exploring Cusco. We wandered through the historical centre and neighbourhoods with cobbled streets. Small shops lined the sides of the road selling ponchos and all sorts of incredibly colourful products. We can definitely feel the altitude so taking it very slow and getting humbled by any sets of stairs or hill. We found large markets selling more interesting food such as lamb head soup and bamboo juice! Still not feeling 100% recovered from food poisoning i headed back early to chill for the rest of the afternoon but a nice day getting orientated in Cusco. Then headed to the bus station for our 10pm overnight bus tonight Lake Titicaca.Leggi altro
