Day 15

Today Jacob and I went to lunch and some restaurant his head chef had recommended, it’s all centred around locally sourced and grown ingredients and working with local communities. It was really interesting and they showed us how the different foods were used, gathered and made. Every dish was so colourful and thought through.

We then packed up our stuff and headed to our meeting for the Inca trail! We met our guide and he spoke us through how the next 4 days will work, what the distances are and what the altitude is. Looks a little intimidating! We are a small group- only 8 people!!

We start hiking tomorrow until the 4th of July. I likely will not have any signal so the blog and all communications from our end will hit pause for a few days. Hopefully next post I do will be with great stories and great photos of the Inca trail!Leggi altro
