Golden & Silver Pavillons

Today, I spent a lot of time in overcrowded city busses from A to B, sometimes exiting early because the air to breathe was getting a little too thin for my taste. Still managed to visit the well known Golden and Silver Pavillons of Kyotō. It was a bit taxing because I am struggling with a cold, but I am proud I still managed to see both of them. They were situated in beautiful gardens, even though the Golden Pavillon was the more impressive Pavillon, the garden Surrounding the silver Pavillon was something else, amazing color palettes and beautiful scenery around every corner. I also managed to visit Fushimi Inari-Taisha at night, because I had to rest a bit in the afternoon. Kyotō has such a vast amount of beautiful shrines and temples, if those are your thing, you could spend a whole week and would not have seen half of them. I'd pack my schedule tighter if my current condition would allow it, but I have to take it slower at the moment to not worsen my symptoms. Tomorrow I will continue on to a new hotel in Shin-Osaka where I will spend a week doing daytrips into the area, I hope I can free up another day to visit temples in Kyotō, I'd love to visit Fushimi Inari-Taisha again by day and walk to the summit.
