When the wind got up , absolutely blew a gale, I said to Shane” we should take down awning”. “ The winds to strong , leave it alone it’s anchored down says Shane”, but I said “let’s take it down now “. So we started to roll her up, the wind took it & wrapped it up over the roof of the van ****** it. Had men running from all directions to help us. Shane standing on some guys shoulders to get up on the roof to retrieve half the awning. I’m holding on for dear life on the ground trying to stop taking off like Mary Poppins .Bent the hell out of one awning arm, so tomorrow $350, for a new arm If we can get one before Xmas break starts.
