Eucumbene Dam

Finished in 1958, to service the Snowy Hydro Scheme. This is the largest Dam in the Snowy scheme. Amazing to actually see this with your own eyes. Would be more impressive to see it all in full flow. Whilst we were here Shane managed to talk to a guy who works for Snowy Hydro & he explained that today he was on watch with 2 way radio because the other bloke was fitting new lights down the shaft which is 140 metres deep .
