Day 2: Florence

This morning we took a high-speed train to Florence to meet up with Lauren and Richie for our next part of the trip!!

When we arrived we walked around and then got AMAZING sandwiches at I’ Girone De’ Ghiotti. Then sat outside at Caffe del Battistero, where we got to sip cappuccino’s and wine with a view of the Duomo! It felt like a dream!

Then we toured the Duomo which was so so beautiful, including the crypt, baptistry, and museum! We could not get over how pretty it was!

We stopped at our cutie hotel to change, then walked to dinner at Osteria del Cinghale Bianco. We got to try traditional Wild Boar pasta and talk with the cutest old man who owned the restaurant with his son!

Next we popped next door to Enoteca Obsequium Wine Bistrot where we got a personalized wine tasting. The shop owner was so fun and talked us through every wine!

Lastly we enjoyed the Saturday night out, walking the gorgeous streets stopping at another wine bar and an irish pub where we got to meet some awesome new friends!Read more
