Day 3: Florence

For day 3 we started our morning at the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze where we saw lots of art including statue of David!! It was really amazing to see in person, the detail on the statue is incredible!

Then we got breakfast at Ala Grande Caffè (Caffè Rosanò) which was delicious. We had pastries with pistachio and chocolate, cappuccinos/espresso, and amazing omelettes.

Next we leisurely walked through the city (we’ve had the most amazing weather this whole trip, so lucky), stopped at a few stores, then made our way to Palazzo Piti. We did an amazing tour of the Boboli gardens which was stunning & walked through some of the museums!

Afterward, we headed home for a quick nap (but popped over to the Ponte Vecchio, which is right by our hotel, to get a glimpse of sunset).

Next we walked to dinner at The Antico Ristoro di Cambi where we tried delicious pasta/wine/cheese and tried bites of fried artichoke and bone marrow👀

Ended the night with DELICIOUS gelato from Sbrino (we got flavors like bread with jam, rice, banana, pistachio, and dark chocolate)! We literally love it here!!Read more
