    Hiking along the Oirase Gorge

    The Oirase Stream Trail is a 14-kilometer path along the Oirase Gorge in Aomori Prefecture. The relatively flat and well-maintained trail is suitable for most fitness levels and follows the stream as it flows from Lake Towada.

    Most people enjoyed a three-hour hike to Lake Towada, taking in the beautiful scenery of the streams and autumn colors, and arrived at the lake by 1pm.    Read more
