First day we did a tour around Amsterdam and found out the basics we needed to know. Where to shop and what ATMs not to use. If you want a coffee you need to go to a Cafe not a Coffee shop as Coffee shops is where you get the Brownies with a extra kick. We had lunch in a little pub, found a hidden garden and just got our bearings. Had a drink in the Hotel bar and then dinner in the Hotel restaurant. We walked to Jordaan which is the Restaurant district.
We went to the Tulip Museum, the Cheese Museum, the Markets where I bought a little bag. We had lunch in a beautiful old building that they had turned into a Brassiere. We went Anne Francs house, saw lots of decorated bikes and Coffee in a little Cafe by a Canal. We got lost lots of time but it didn't really matter as we got to see lots of things that we wouldn't probably have see if were weren't lost. We did see the Cannabis Museum but didn't venture in, the smell on the streets was enough.Read more

Visited the Flower Markets, went for a walk in a huge park, that was beautiful, then went to The Museum of Modern Art, The Jewish Museum and had Jewish lunch at the Museum and did some souvenir shopping . We dinner at a lovely little Italian restaurantRead more

We started the day packing our bags again before checking out, giving our bags to the Scenic desk so they could take them to the boat for us. We then set out on our final shopping and to visit the Royal Palace ( now know as our summer house) then we did a Canal trip in a open boat, which was amazing as the day was beautiful and sunny. We the walk across to the boat and boarded, then had lunch and a glass or 2 of Champagne.
