Strasbourg

Drove to Strasbourg today ... about 70km .... just a little hop .

Next time I would drive the upper Landstrasse through all the little wine villages and may stay at a vineyard.

Arrived at the city campground I booked (Lesley needed her comforts)..... only to be told that I reserved it for tommorow 🤣🤣

They were full for today and offered me to stay at their carpark with no services ... for 19 Euro. You can guess my response to them.

Back in the van and drove 8km to the German side of the Rhine to a stellplatz for 12 Euro and also close to the centre.
Went with our bikes to the rather lively centre of old Strasbourg to have .... you have guessed it .... a Flammenkuchen and a bottle of Rose. Yummyumm.🤗

Went past a great cheese place and decided to have a look. Some tasting later we decided to buy a small piece of Comte .... it was lovely .... but also 26euro😲 ..... so no more artisan shops!!!
