Gold souk

Walked through the gold souk. Can't really move for people coming up to you with cries of "copy watch" or "copy bag". Most of the gold is that very yellow gold - not really to our taste so wasn't tempted

Lachie found himself as sheikh for a minute and I was given some incredible tasting dates in a spice shop.

You can walk around these places for hours and it is endlessly fascinating watching all the people trying to earn a living and tasting either success or defeat with each passing tourist.Weiterlesen
