Arrived in Rome on a clear but cold day. Awesome city and our hotel is minutes walk from Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Streets are cobbled and full of people.

Making Pasta

Went to pasta making class where we made fettuccine and ravioli. Great fun and fantastic food. We ate our product and washed it down with prosecco and red wine.

Three and a half hour train ride from Rome to Venice then a half hour ferry ride and five minute walk to hotel.

Gondola Ride

Went for a gondola ride - really peaceful just drifting around the canals and because it is winter there are not too many people around so the canals weren't like rush hour on the Southern Motorway.

Wandering around on our last day in Venice. Found our way to the open air marketplace with the locals. Only -2 degrees at the moment so no problem keeping the fish from spoiling.
