Spatzenhäus

This is the restaurant we visited on the second day. It's called Spatzenhäus and it's designed into the traditional look as well. We really loved it!
Tip - It's better to book a table in an advance for sure! This restaurant was really popular there and we could see why too. The food was amazing! And my gosh one plate would had been enough for 2 people at least!Read more

Zugspitze

2962m above sea level!
The first day we decided for a skiing on the highest mountain of Germany called Zugspitze.
My tip - It's not worth it if you can't stay all day there. It takes a long time to get to the place you can ski at. At first we had to wait 1 hour to get to the lift which took us up to the hill. Then we had to wait some another time for an another lift which took us to the skiing area. Then we had a few hours for skiing but in the end we had to pass out this long way back again. So it's really better to don't have any other plans for that day.
But! Skiing there is really amazing! That's an iceberg up there so even though it was quite warm and sunny, the snow wasn't melted!
There are many ways and many lifts you can take and you can enjoy such a great day full of lovely sports like skiing or snowboarding are!
And I think anyone can be satisfied there. The beginner, the professional or anyone who came just to lay on the couchette and get some rest under the sunshine.Read more

We also visited this special place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The IV. Olympic games in 1936 took place right here!

Alpacas

We also found these cuties close to our hotel. It was like 5 minutes to walk here from the hotel we stayed at.
Tip - If you're an animal lover, this could be interesting for you! You can take these alpacas for a walk as if they were dogs! I'm not sure if it's possible the whole year, I don't remember, but it's possible in summer for sure!
The next time I come there, I'm definitely taking them for a walk.Read more

Hotel Quellenhof

Waking up with a view like this is something really amazing! I literally loved spending my time at the balcony and I didn't even care it was pretty cold outside. The view was worth it.
It's the highest mountain of Germany over there. It's called Zugspitze and there is a lift which can take you to the top of the hill.
We stayed in the hotel Quellenhof. The accommodation was really nice. Rooms were great, breakfasts so tasty and it was very close to many skiing resorts from there. This hotel offers a swimming pool and I think sauna too but we didn't have enough time to use it.
Well it was a shame it wasn't possible to have a lunch or some dinner at the hotel so we always had to go somewhere else (something useful for you - when you come there in the middle of the skiing season, make it sure you make some reservations in the restaurants - we had a really big problem to get a table for 4 people).Read more

Pretzels

It wouldn't be me if I didn't find anything cute and very typical for the area I was in. This time it was a traditional pretzel! How you can obviously see, I chose the biggest one they had and I absolutely loved it! If is anyone asking - Yes, it was really tasty!Read more

We made a little stop in Munich on the way home. I had been to Munich like million times for some international competitions but never gotten a chance to see the historical city center. The architecture totally took my breath!Read more
