A fairly late night arrival but we’ve very much landed on our feet in an air bnb right smack in the middle of town. It’s just gorgeous and old mansion in the day with four big bedrooms. Extensive kitchen two coffee maker and a fridge which make ice and they even had a bottle of wine all chilled. Two bathrooms. Great big washer and drier the we made the best of.
Set if to fi d our four hour Toulouse bike tour. Took us 15km in and out and round about there was just us there a 6 40 year old lovely Belgium blokes who went to uni together and get away together one a year. Two plane it. Always somewhere different and they try and organise things that they haven’t done before. They got excited when we biked past the Belgium embassy as sang all the national anthem it was lovely as in a tint street with high walls and the sound was tingling. We we sat Te Aroha as a waiata at the end. They were all west and videos us. No no one will see it. Got back for a cup of tea and lie down then back wandering the streets till aperitifs then onto dinner. See photos. Lots of gorgeous stylish French. They all look so chic (I do have an urge to slap them for it tho.
On the bike tour we went through a beautify garden and I was really impressed with the homage to the Tour du France. The 11 section is in toulouse. If you zoom in you can wee lots of bike change utilised.
That it. Did 23000 steps yesterday but only 5000 today which didn’t could the ten km bike ride
