We had a great time in Lisbon wandering the streets and enjoying their street food. We met a man who was traveling by himself after his wife passed. We talked for a while and finally exchanged names. When I said my name was Ursula, he said, “That was the name of my wife.” It was a special moment and one I’ll always remember. As we bid farewell, he said, Take good care Uschi.” 🩷💔

Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel-colored buildings, Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.Read more
