..descending Cotopaxi

..today..we packed up from the Refuge...and made our way down to a place we could get our bus...back to the lovely Casa Ilayaku..which is at circa 6000 ft...and some relief from the still present altitude sickness...what a tranquil haven this is ..nestling in the hills above Quito...I have now wired this experience as a win..after some great support...I got to an altitude 1000 ft higher than Mt Blanc..and a lovely meal with Team Cotopaxi is planned this evening...our last dinner..Read more
