.. by train from Pau... because it's described as an elegant seaside town on the Basque coast.. and was worth an afternoon of my time.. long sandy beaches.. pleasant stroll for a couple of hours..and a £700 a night prestige Hotel du Palais ( pictured) with suites costing £1600 a night..
