Amber weather warning

... for up to 25cm of snow on the higher NYMoors... Amber is unusual . signifying severe weather.. and this caused chaos the night before.... I stayed over in York on Thu night when it was at its height.. 3 miles uphill in the dark .. in a blizzard didn't appeal... but coming home the next day to a winter wonderland.. it was luggage in.. boots+ microspikes on.. and straight out to this glorious snowscape... some cracking pics..at it's most glorious.. and before it disappears ..Read more
