Reflections

On Australia and Malaysia trips..which should’ve been one trip..but I do feel it was better how it worked out
About 38000 miles travelled....10 Airbus or Boeing aircraft..7 airlines..one Indian Pacific train
Etihad..as good as a top 3 airline should be
Batak Air..adequate..did the job
Jetstar..a hop up to Brisbane from Sydney and back..adequate
Qantas..superb..of course
Qatar..another top 3..very good
Malaysia Airlines..best for service..red wine top ups without needing to ask
Gulf Air..proper stainless steel cutlery..but offhand stewardesses
Slept in around 15 different places..ranging from on an aircraft overnight to Intercontinental Hotel..and everything in between.
All worked to plan..and it was all great..incl the family visits..I’m resolved to now enjoy Autumn in North Yorkshire Moors…and my surrounding area .for at least a couple of weeks😘 Strong start..beach walking in Scarborough..lovely😌Read more
