Last day in Assisi

Such an amazing stay in Assisi. It’s been great to not only share this time with Kate, but enjoy it with old and new friends.

Today’s hike was not long, but the over 1000 feet of climbing did me in. Starting in the clouds then climbing out was just something. I am running out of words to describe the beauty here.

I rested a lot this afternoon and prepped for packing and travel to Rome tomorrow.

The day ended with friends on a rooftop terrace, city lights, and lots of Italian wine!もっと詳しく
