Started walking in the cloud. under estimated today. Big climb to 2400 metres.
Allen caught us at the top of the climb.
Stopped at refuge for lunch. 100km runners going past. 9000m elevation climbs and 60% do not finish. looked brutal.
Long afternoon descending. 29km day so pretty shattered. will aim for an easier day today as we climb up towards the ski fields of Tignes.
We head into a very remote area with a 3000 metre pass so might have limited coverage.Read more
