    A watched pot never boils...

    March 12, 2022 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

So I started to boil some eggs at 6am... 40 minutes later I'm getting closer. Gives a whole new meaning to the saying a watched pot never boils.

First I couldn't turn on the stove. Apparently you have to turn on the HOB switch if you want to use the hotplate (aka stove top).

So I had to google HOB which apparently means 'shelf to hold food near the hearth'.... Then I couldn't figure out whether 1 or 6 was the high heat. Answer: 6.

So now it's 6:49 am (50 minutes later) and my eggs are boiled. 😂😂😂😂

TravelerYou’re supposed to boil water first and then add eggs 😂

TravelerNaw this is an egg hack. By the time the water boils the eggs are legit perfectly cooked inside.
