Sequoia National Forest, CA

Drove through beautiful California orchards and farm lands to get to the Sequoia National Forest. I couldn't help but pull over and run to sneak a couple oranges from the beautiful and bountiful trees.
We arrived in the Sequoia National Forest first through the south entrance but found the roads closed at Hospital Rock due to snow. While it was beautiful, we weren't able to see and Sequoias. Therefore we went to the north entrance the next day. The drive was through snowy mountains. If that wasn't reward enough, we were able to see some ancient and monstrous Sequoias to include General Grant and his "troops".Read more
