  • Zazie | Breakfast | Haight

    July 4, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 17 °C

Zazie is a very popular french-style brunch place in Haight/close to Sunset, which I checked out due to Yelp reviews. Waiting line gets super long on weekends (so better set the alarm early), but on weekdays it'll be fine!
I actually had one of the best pancakes ever here. The egg benedicts with crab dungeness were also delicious. The Cafe Latte comes in a big mug.
They also serve dinner, but I didn't try that yet.
It can get a little pricy, but tips are already included here!

  • 4505 Burgers & BBQ | Dinner | NoPa

    July 10, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

My boyfriend wanted some spare ribs, so we headed this place. They only have outdoor seating after you ordered at the bar, it's like bbq'in at home.
We had the "Smoked Rib Plate" with almost a pound of ribs with Baked Beans (yum!) and Spicy Fries with Chimichurri Sauce (it was way too much for one person, but awesome) plus some pulled pork with bread (which was okay, but the ribs were a lot better - try those). They also offer a wide selection of local beers.
If you want MEAT, go here.

  • Pacific Catch 2 | Dinner | Marina

    July 11, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

The second and smaller venue of Pacific Catch, which I personally prefer. The restaurant is super small and the menu card is also smaller here - but you get all you need! Poke, Ricebowl or Salad with fresh fish - thank you and goodbye.
Chestnut Street is also great for a stroll and some shopping, so the location is perfect.

  • Tartine Bakery | Pastries | Mission

    July 13, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

You can come to this very cozy bakery/café for breakfast or for a sweet in between snack. I loved their Banana Cream Tarte, it was delicious and if you ever throw a birthday party, you definitely need one of those massive, perfectly looking (and tasting!) chocolate cakes. Too much calories in here, but so worth it...Read more

  • Nopalito | Dinner | Inner Sunset

    July 14, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

A popular mexican place. They're trying to be fancy too hard (in my opinion - they don't offer soda water or coke; selfmade tea isn't that bad, though) - but their food is very delicious (and a bit pricy)! Their tortillas and tacos are all housemade and they use fresh spices.
So all in all, I obviously recommend it: We will go back for the food, not the place.

  • Park Chow | Brunch, Dinner | InnerSunset

    July 16, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

We just came here, because our local friend recommended it. So happy we did!
The location looks super small from the outside, but inside it's like a huge chalet with cozy fireplaces and a big patio on the roof. They serve organic eggs, huevos rancheros, delicious pancakes and french toast, bread with arugula and avocado for brunch and a lot more for dinner, too.
After brunch we went to De Young Museum and Academy of Science, just a 5 minute walk away.
