Long way home

This is one of those long travel days again, so I better have a good breakfast. Around the Gare du Nord are a lot of Indish restaurants, so no problem at all to get a full meal. Also it was quite cheap compared to the rest of Paris.
And since the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est are neighbours, you can just walk over to the other one. Even the though the plattforms are announced just before you can board the train, I wouldn't call it a lucky guess, after I spotted the only Velaro in the whole station.
I was also lucky to spot a new TGV M, when we left the station. They are not even in service yet.
After a change in Frankfurt, I boarded the last train of this vacation and ordered some Chili sin Carne. DB might not be as fast as RENFE or SNCF, but you can use the time to have an actually good meal if you are vegan.Read more
