Holly, MI and Grosse Pointe Park, MI

We took a drive out to Holly from Kris' house for the Renaissance Fair. It was absolutely huge! The people watching was very good and some people had some brilliant costumes. The only downside to all the people, really long lines for food and drinks. We managed to get some gyros after the turkey leg line seemed to stop moving. We walked around and saw a couple of small acts and shows. We watched the jousting, and Kris finally managed to get a beer! It was just far too busy to spend a lot of time there though, so we left mid afternoon. Allan wasn’t impressed with the fair.

When we got back to Grosse Pointe Park, we ordered some Detroit style pizzas and watched a couple more episodes of Rings of Power before turning in for the night. Who knew people watching was so exhausting!Read more
