Pelotas to Curitiba

Today was strictly a travel day. We had a lovely breakfast with Sergio and Sylvia before we got on the road to journey north back to Curitiba.

The road was pretty much highway the whole time and not particularly interesting. There was also a surprising number of tolls! We had a couple chunks of traffic and some rain, as well as some idiotic drivers who were not paying attention, but overall the trip was ok.

We arrived at our hotel just after 22:30 about 10 minutes from the airport where we need to drop off the car. I'm glad we decided to just take the hit and drive the full 12 and half hours up here so that tomorrow morning we have nothing to do until we drop off the car at 11:00. It will be nice to wake up, get some free hotel breakfast, and then drop the car instead of having to drive another couple hours like we originally planned.Leggi altro
