Day 1 - Auckland

We flew up to Auckland a day early as you never know what kind of weather it is going to be this time of year!
Flight was excellent and we reached our Hotel. We entered our room and noticed it hadn't been serviced from the previous occupant! 🙄 we soon got a new room!!

We woke this morning and had a few hours to kill so took the kids to Rainbows end via the shopping mall. Our Uber turned out to be a Tesla so that kept Guy happy! We had a fairly good day at rainbows end, kids had lots of fun 😁

We have now hit the airport, picked up our foreign currency, checked in, been through security. Time for some games with the kids whilst we wait to board. Hoping we can all catch some good zzzz on this 17 hour flight, it will be a challenge, tomorrow you will hear how we do!! 🙈🥴🤣Les mer
