chasing dreams

I arrived at Samesun beach hostel at 8am having not slept on the flight I was pretty exhausted but nonetheless I went straight out. The hostel was right on the promenade of Venice beach, perfect location. I walked past the famous muscle beach and there was a photo shoot happening which I found quite interesting these people are ridiculous. Venice beach is awesome they have so many outdoor sporting facilities including a gym, squash, basketball, tennis, skatepark, the surf looked was looking good too, I was very tempted to head out . Later in the afternoon it really came to life with people it was a good vibe very laid back people casually smoking joints everyone was getting around on skateboards and all different types of bicycles including electric all the way to a unicycle I even saw a bulldog riding a skateboard. When I went to the skatepark I was Immediately disappointed that I didn't have something to ride, it is the best skatepark I have ever seen it has a perfect Combination of everything. I watched for hours with a Canadian guy I met at the hostel he was an absolute legend great sense of humour, we shared a joint and he took me to a Peruvian burger 🍔 joint. Delicious.. Later I went back to the skate park with a l beer to watch the sunset it was up there with one of the best I've seen. I went to bed straight after.Read more
