Killington Day 1

We started out the day with a surprise hot breakfast at the hotel. We were told it was a grab and go. Good way to start the day. Our hotel is very close to the mountain so we were on the slopes in no time. We started at Ramshead and skied over to K1 than made our way to Sunrise Mountain. As we worked our way back to K1 we stopped at the Jerk Shack for lunch. The shrimp combo was so good! We ran into Betsy and Mark Daniels and had lunch with them then we all headed out to ski together. We stopped for pictures in front of the old K1 lodge which is supposed to be torn down in the next few weeks. After another couple of runs my knee started to bother me so we called it a day at 2pm. On the way to the car I hit some gravel and fell. Not good for the knee. It was a great day of skiing. Conditions were great and we skied well. On to the hot tub!Read more
