    SEA Aquarium in Singapore

    June 8, 2017 in India ⋅ 🌙 23 °C

Visiting an aquarium is quite an experience in itself. Whether you travelling to Singapore for the first or the umpteenth time, you know that a day spent at Resort World Sentosa would be incomplete without visiting the S.E.A. Aquarium.

Travelling to Resort World Sentosa that houses the magnificent S.E.A. Aquarium is made easier by the fact you can take bus tickets from http://www.redbus.sg/ and be dropped right outside the resort.

One of the more popular attractions out here, I give you four more reasons to visit this magical aquarium more often:

    1. Till 2014, it held the distinction of being the world’s largest aquarium based on the total volume of water it held—it can hold up to 17 Olympic-sized swimming pools within it!
    2. The aquarium is made up of 49 different aquatic habitats, and it takes approximately two hours to cover the entire length of the aquarium. These habitats include Shark Seas, Shipwreck and Open Ocean.
    3. Deep within the Open Ocean habitat lies a giant viewing panel that will put all of the flat-screen HD television screens in the world to shame. This viewing panel is an unbelievable 36 m wide, 8.3 cm tall and weighs more than 2, 50,000 kg.
    4. Did you know you can learn to dive and be known as a certified diver, here at S.E.A.?
