Plenty Highway

Very cold start to the day - 4 degrees - so breakfast by the campfire, then an inquisitive visitor (a wild horse) while we were packing up.

Back on the track and finally after 700kms of dirt we reached the Plenty Highway (single lane bitumen) where we stopped for lunch.

Exit the Plenty and then south onto the Stuart Highway - 130kph speed limit. Arrive at Alice Springs to top up all provisions in record time and then off to Trephina Gorge on the Ross Highway.Read more
