Tasman Coalmine reserve

We went to have a look around the Convict Coal mine near the Saltwater township, we expected to see a deep mine shaft but it looks like its been filled in (shame) but there were ruins of the horses and cell blocks. You can only image how bad the conditions were for the convicts, spend the day down a dangerous coal mine come up for a good flogging the locked up in pitch black damp cell that’s not much bigger than most toilets.Baca lagi
