Scottsdale lions park

We have arrived at Scottsdale we are in the free camp thanks to the local Lions club, this camp is actually called Scottsdale Northeast park not due to it’s location which is probably more SE of Scottsdale but named after Mr Northeast who’s idea it was to establish a park in this location back in the 1930s (see photos) it looks a bit run down now but that’s what time does to everything and everybody I suppose!
The park was quite full when we got here so we ended up at the top of the park away from most of the others which is good but on a slope that was hard to get the caravan level on which was bad.Then after we had uncoupled the car about 4 caravans pulled out !!! Oh well too late now as I don’t want to hitch up again till it’s time to move on. We can stay here for up to 14 nights but we will probably stay only 3 or 4.Read more
