Launceston

We are now in Launceston staying at Old Mac’s Farm which is an off grid low cost campsite $10 per night no power or amenities but you can refill your tanks for $2 so with power from the sun recharging our batteries we can stay as long as we like and shower every day.
There are lots of baby road runners here which is weird as I thought birds reproduced in spring but obviously I’m wrong.(I just looked it up on Wikipedia and they reckon they lay eggs between July and September but may lay twice if its been a good year).Læs mere
