Miena Dam lookout

Next up was the dam lookout, although there was a very heavy mist about which limited the distance we could see. The drive through the highlands was cool like 5degs and wet but very picturesque. We passed through some of the areas that were burned out by the recent bushfires we also saw that the water in this area just runs off the ground probably because there is little soil to soak it up you can see it rushing off in our photos and video but even with all this water the dam level is quite low.
We were at one time following a truck n trailer who we are thankful that we were not coming towards as he was crossing over to the opposite of the road to take left hand turns. (Watch video). Czytaj więcej
