After a reasonably smooth voyage across the Bass Strait we disembarked from the Spirit of Tasmania. As soon as we could we stopped to give the pups a toilet break as they had been cooped up in their crate for 13 hours.
After travelling across Melbourne we stopped for breakfast in a service area (eggs on toast with coffee). Then we heeded off up the M8/A8 towards South Australia, we have booked in for a couple of nights at the Stawell Grampians Gate caravan park, we will get some laundry done and have a good sleep tonight, although we had a nice cabin which was a lot better than the recliner seats on the way over it was still only a sporadic sleep leaving us feeling drained.
