    Nhill Aerodrome

    May 18, 2019 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

We fuelled up in Stawell then set off East towards South Australia, after passing a few places that seemed to look familiar (like the big Koala) we realised that we had travelled this way last year during our lap of Australia, it was when we were travelling between Colac and Mildura but when we reached Horsham we turned left towards Nhill and started breaking new ground for us again.
We arrived at Nhill and have set up at the RV park next to the old aerodrome, it used to be a flight training school during WWII now its a small museum and workshop for restoring old aircrafts.
Kay found some hats to try on and ended up buying one for here next open cockpit journey.
