Finally, after a careful climb, the summit structure of Aljaž Tower (Aljažev stolp) emerges from the mist like a ghostly sentinel.
Standing at 2,864 meters, we have reached the highest point in Slovenia — though we can barely see more than a few meters in any direction. We laugh, hug, and tap the iron tower in triumph, celebrating a summit that feels almost secret, shared only between us and the mountain.

Visibility might be close to zero, but the feeling of standing atop Triglav — the heart of Slovenia — is crystal clear.Read more
