Off to Dawson City

This is leg three of Renée’s bike trip, Mayo to Dawson). So once again we said our goodbyes

The scenery is actually kind of uninteresting along that stretch of highway, so we didn’t stop much. We pulled into the campground just before Dawson, but there was a pollen storm. In the time it took us to eat lunch everything was covered in this fine yellow dust. It was so thick that we couldn’t really breath.

Originally the plan was to stay there and head into Dawson the next day, but the pollen was too thick so we pushed on. Stopped at the visitors centre, went across the river (ferry ride is pretty wild) and found a campsite on the Yukon River.
