    Tourist Dawson

    June 4, 2022 in Canada ⋅ ⛅ 22 °C

Took care of some chores today. Then up to Robert Service’s cabin where I did my recital of The Cremation of Sam McGee.

Next up was The Dome. Basically a hill with a bald spot at the top. The theory is that even though Dawson is below the Arctic Circle if you go up to The Dome on the solstice you can watch the sun go all the way around. Anyway fantastic view of Dawson and area.

Then we were back to Gertie’s so Renée could see the show. It’s really three shows at 8:30, 10:00, and midnight. They get racier and rowdier as the night goes on. The first time we didn’t stay for the last show, but this time we did. It was worth it. We were greeted with a sunset at 1:00am when we came out.
