Tuktoyaktuk

Spent the day in Tuktoyaktuk. Had Muktuk bites and whitefish at Grandmas Kitchen. Muktuk is Beluga whale, kinda half skin half blubber.

Everyone here is extremely friendly and accommodating, one of the most welcoming places I’ve ever been. The locals check up on the tourists regularly to make sure they are OK, and they’ll stop and talk or answer your questions.

After the Muktuk I did a little beach balancing. It was very windy so I was surprised that it lasted all day.Leggi altro
