Back Home

So we spent the last week hanging out in Quebec visiting Isabelle’s family. Lots of siblings, nephews/nieces and their kids, and of course Isabelle’s mother.

Lots of eating, practicing my French, teaching English. We built a platform for a shed, did a little fishing, sampled the local cheese & ice cream 🍦. Battled a les mouches 🦟 🪰 … and lost.

Washed ourselves and the car (desperately needed it), repacked everything and now we are ready for the long journey home. Likely going to make a run for it to get home quickly. Of course if we see something of interest we will stop along the way.Read more
