Kom Ombo temple

This day is quite relaxing, with only a single visit planned in the morning to the Kom Ombo temple. This is a peculiar one, splitter between 2 different gods, the Eagle and the Crocodile. It hosts a well conserved Nile meter and a unique representation of ancient chirurgical tools. At the end, you can also see examples of mummified crocodiles. Unfortunately it is not as well conserved as others big temples but still a fascinating addition to the tour.Leggi altro
