Temple of Horus in Edfu

The second day was more relaxing, with a single visit on the morning. The ship stopped at Edfu for a tour to the Temple of Horus. This site is amazing with every single inch covered with sculptures and geroglifes telling to story of the god Horus and his battle against Seth. On of the rooms contains carvings with recipes and detailed instructions to prepare ancient Egyptian perfumes. The place is very well conserved even if the original colours are no longer visible.
